ADC Solution Yellow Beeswax is a 100% naturally derived beeswax that retains its characteristic yellow-amber colour and mild natural beeswax aroma with honey-like notes.

Yellow beeswax is less processed than white beeswax. It is generally steam heated and hot filtered, but is not bleached or deodorised. It may therefore retain traces of naturally occurring pollen or propolis.

It is particularly suitable for pillar and moulded candles, and can also be used in wax blends as a hardening and structuring component.

Technical Information

Candle Making

Yellow beeswax may be used on its own or blended with other candle waxes.

In blends it can:

• increase hardness;
• improve dimensional stability;
• add structure and plasticity;
• raise the melting point;
• modify surface texture and burn behaviour.

Wick Selection

Select the wick according to candle diameter, beeswax percentage, fragrance load, dyes, candle shape and wick construction.

Always confirm the final formulation with a full burn test.

Natural Colour & Odour

Because yellow beeswax is a natural raw material, its colour and aroma can vary slightly between batches.

This is a normal characteristic rather than a product defect.

Is Beeswax Vegan?

No.

Beeswax is produced by bees and is therefore considered an animal-derived ingredient.

Storage

Store tightly closed, dry, protected from direct sunlight and away from strong external odours.
